"The roaster describes this pod as a safari for the senses is brewed from Africa's most precious natural resource - Kenyan AA-grade java. The dry pod smells very fresh and raisin sweet while the brewed aroma is also sweet like raisins but also offers up some citrus. The first slurp presents medium acidity and cinnamon raisin sweetness. The mouth feel is medium and creamy. As it cools the acidity fades and a delicious, dark, and chocolaty sweetness dominates the middle and the finish. With it’s dark cocoa and raisin sweetness, this coffee reminds me more of a Guatemalan than the Kenyan samples I have enjoyed lately.
